Wayback machine: Two dancing princesses
Two weekends ago, Chelsea had to concoct a funky potion to detangle Maria's hair, which is long and prone to forming a rat's nest on the back of her head. This magic goo contained yogurt, avocado, and several other secret sauces; Chelsea improvised the recipe after reading several pages online about make-at-home conditioner.

Anyway, I came across this picture the other day and remembered that Maria has not always had incredibly long hair. Here she is, dancing with Anna and showing off a very different hairdo:
Maria needs the longer hair now so she can put her hair up in a bun for ballet class. Or so I'm told. Nick and I were baffled by this homebrew conditioner business - I don't think in all my life that my hair has ever been long enough to tangle.
