Wednesday social

Last night we had a rare school-night social occasion, visiting with our friends Jerry and Sabina and their son Sam. They hosted at their place, and we enjoyed pizza and good conversation while the kids played fairly peaceably. Our kids especially liked going in the hot tub, and shame on me for not bringing along my camera to snap a picture or two. Anna was a bit hesitant at first, and the poor thing stood on the deck for a few minutes shivering in the cold (25F/-4C) before Sabina helped our girl ease her way in.
