It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas… at least, according to the calendar. As I write this, it’s a rainy Monday here in Philadelphia, and unseasonably warm too.

Anyway.

This week we’ll take some looks back at Christmases past in the Sperger household. We get started with Christmas 2008, one of the last times(!) our kids sat together for a picture with Santa. What strikes me now in this picture is that while Maria looks much the same today – a timeless beauty, she – Nick and Anna look like completely different people now.

Hi everyone, sorry for the radio silence. We had some changes in the tech setup at the house over the last two weeks, and that’s causing me to have a very hard time accessing pictures to post on the blog. We’ll get this sorted out as soon as possible.

Most people think of Jolly Old Saint Nick as making his big appearance on the 25th of the month. Our family knows better. With some generous help from Nana (who is back online!), the kids found a little something special in their shoes this morning:
